With a passion for storytelling, Lisa Angell produces projects with the hopes of not only entertaining but inspiring. She is driven to open minds and provoke thought through writing and directing. She hones her craft by shooting and editing various projects across documentary and narrative.​ She recently directed her debut feature film, A Ramble Towards Rain, which is set to be released within the year. Lisa is also a founding member of thirty-one oaks, a creative collective elevating artistic potential, building community, and socializing profits.

Lisa graduated college in 2019, receiving a dual Bachelor's degree in Communication and Film, Television, and Media Studies with minors in Philosophy and Anthropology. She is fascinated by the nuances of what it means to be human and the quest for truth. Driven by these curiosities, Lisa continues to pursue projects that help her better understand the world. 

Lisa was born and raised in the small town of Mattituck on the North Fork of Long Island and is currently working and residing in New York City.
